Things that have happened since then:
1] Got in a car accident and lived through the most horrendous pain you could ever imagine. I really appreciate being able to walk without a massive limp anymore. And my car's all fixed!
2] Started a couple of new stories: a vampire story in conjunction with my panther and werewolf stories, several of the follow-up stories in the FBI/CIA saga (Six Years Later is the first one), a separate FBI story from the other series.
3] I turned 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's kind of nice to be eighteen. I've gotten my last name changed and I'm a free woman. Yay!
4] Didn't go to my senior prom. WAY too expensive and not worth it. I just chilled and watched some movies. Pathetic I know but it was more relaxing than spending the day running around getting ready and stressing about not having a date.
5] I GRADUATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Words cannot express how thankful I am to have survived high school, enjoyed most of my senior year and to be done with generalized education forever! Woo hoo! Onto college where I can take all the engineering classes I want!
6] I now have a full-time job in the engineering department at Gonzaga University. It's a blast! I love my job, my co-workers and...*drum roll*...the amount of money that I'm getting paid will pay for my Ireland trip twice over by the end of August.
7] I am currently of the opinion that all men suck and should be castrated due to the way they treat women. Seriously, how hard is it to grow a set of balls and grow up? ...okay, now that I've completely scared away all my male readers, let me recant that last statement and amend it. All of my EXES should be castrated due to the way they treat women. Men. Suck.
8] I found the most incredible song on my Muse Radio Station on Pandora today. It's called "Wish You Were Here" by Incubus. The lyrics are incredible and in combination with the music...briliant.
Well if I ever intend to post anything new on here, I need to get started on it now before I get completely sidetracked.

The one thing you don't do enough
Is to stretch beyond your own limits
To pause and move outside yourself
Look at your world from a different perspective
You'll be surprised how much you miss
Just by thinking you miss nothing at all. - Gilad
